A YEAR IN REVIEW vol. 24
to YOU—
thank you for making this year unforgettable. for trusting me with your stories, your secrets, and your most meaningful moments. these are the good old days, and now we have something to look back on forever.
to LOVE—
from a elegant winter wonderland wedding during a polar vortex (RIP camera) to wandering the woods for an intimate wedding in beautiful British Columbia, I’ve been so lucky to travel and witness love on display in such unique and wondrous ways.
i’ve gotten to document engagements, boudoir, bacholette parties, bridal showers, weddings, baby announcements, bumpin’ maternity sessions, family gatherings, and my two little besties first birthday. LOVE WAS truly at THE CORE OF EVERYTHING WE DID THIS YEAR.
we captured some firsts, some lasts— and so many moments in between.
to COMMUNITY—
reflecting on Pride
the queens, the kings (karla marx, poppy puffter, synthia kiss, auroa matrix, venus, nada nuff, Dayna gvasalia hart, addi pose, francheska dynamites, dana demento, dick goblin, mr justin syde, shane onyou), the community—it was EVERYTHING ✨ but Pride isn’t just glitter and glam, it’s rooted in revolution. so for me, this was more than a photography job— it was capturing a moment in history, honoring a movement, and celebrating the beautiful resistance that PRIDE represents.
i’m so grateful to lethbridge pride fest & lane sterr for taking a chance on me.
speaking of community,
💖 in support of the ywca harbour house girlgang yql raised $8100 during their 6th annual Galentine’s Day event
🎄chinook regional hospital foundation Christmas tree festival celebrated 30 years and raised $181,500
👯♀️ the property twins Whitney & Kirby Maronda , spring merrill, and kyran Morris hosted many customer appreciation events throughout the year (also, no big deal, but they were named #1 realtors BEST OF THE BEST and #1 real estate team)
🪩 rain or shine, we were back for the 2nd annual 6th street block party
⚖️ kurt schlachter received an honorary doctor of laws degree, from the university of lethbridge
📚 southwest collaborative support services kept growing
🏦 and the Joss Wealth Advisory Group showcased their vibrant team
i’ve also had the privilege of giving back by contributing my time & resources to support local organizations and events throughout the year
this was also the year i fully committed to being a “sports person”. from hanging out courtside with our gator girls, to being raised at the rink. i’ve loved working alongside so many talented athletes, coaches, and volunteers with the lethbridge ringette association, and other organizations, with their fundraisers, tournaments, events and popups. (i’m still learning the ropes, so I’m sorry if I’ve shared any high stick evidence and called it an “action shot”.)
to the DREAMERS—
