“on august 9th, golfers, sponsors, volunteers and supporters joined the chinook regional hospital foundation at the lethbridge country club for the 26th annual val matteotti italian open. it was a wonderful day of golf, prizes and great italian food—all in support of a great cause.
 
named after prominent philanthropists val and flora matteotti, the event is known as one of the most distinguished and one-of-a-kind golf tournaments in southern alberta. over the past 26 years, the annual golf tournament has raised a total of about $1.7 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣, which will fund life-saving healthcare and the greatest needs of the chinook regional hospital.”
